tangled up in blue eyesHer hair was the kind of brown where you just knew she was born blonde. Eyes, big and bright, filled with a wonder I couldn't name or place. She kept a ribbon tied in her hair; never yellow, it reminded her of mothers and children. She was a mystery to everyone and a misery to me.

They said that the colour of her skin was something that resembled perfection. White porcelain with peach undertones, something of a doll; a child made from china, painted colourful with deft fingers scarred blue.

Curiousity got the best of me and I looked too deep, too quickly; oceanic blue eyes that shifted like they'd already drowned every living soul that had

Somber Demise

They have an impulsion disorder
grabbing the gun in the worst of quandary's
They think it's their only option
Grimaces and frowns have made them weary

A metallic black gun, they hold in shaking hands
and gaze at it with an overwhelming confusion
what are they doing with such a deadly weapon
It all seemed like a lethal illusion

The sky is a thick twilight
filled with ultraviolet rays and mystique
for a moment they feel euphoria
the feeling is strong but their heart is just too weak

Dear Summer,
I can't believe you. How could you leave so soon? You come to me with a friendly greeting and a smile. You tell me, "Everything is okay now. You're free!" But that was a lie...That only lasts for a short time. My freedom is so short lived and it's all your fault. You speed by like a roller coaster even though I tell you over and over to go slow. I don't want to go back to that prison. It's so full of misery and angry people whos souls are dead and cold. Many demons lurk there, all wanting to steal your heart and crush your soul. Paradise

There's a paradise for us all
A place were we can be free and get away from ours lives, if only for a moment
A place were we can forget our fears and insecurity's and just be ourselves
No more putting on a mask to cover your faces from the world
And pushing down all your emotions into your heart away from doubtful eyes
In Paradise, your problems are non-existent
You feel no pain or misery
Only love, happiness, and joy

Just how exactly do you get to paradise?
It's different for every person
Some people get there through their dreams
Others get there through a book or maybe even music
And there's always those who gets there throug

Our Friendship

Our friendship is something I hold dear
I'm always happy when you're near
This poem will be cheesy but don't kill me
that's just how it's going to be

Laughter is a common occurrence between us
you are one of the few people I trust
I enjoy our inside jokes and insanity
we are a major threat to all humanity

Narwhals, crumpets, and memes galore
all of our jokes make me love you more
You're are an amazing person in every way
you will be my best friend forever, okay?

Will do almost anything for chocolate
Always blames self for others misfortunes
Forgets that this isn't an anime and does stupid things
Feels a need to obsess over a fictional character
Loves to imagine amazing scenarios that will never happen
Evenly cuts the cake
Silently dreams a dream what will never come true
Cries in the midst of the night over inexplicable travesties
Has a L plushie
Always eats chocolate chip pancakes despite the fact that my name is waffles
Never leaves something that uneven or out of order unattended

Find The DreamSearch deep within your heart, deep into the darkness where faded dreams are kept. Don't give up; the one you are looking for is there somewhere. When you find it, hiding in a corner weeping at lost years, don't leave it there; it's scared and hates the darkness. Lift it gently into the light and watch it transform into a brighter wiser dream than it once was.

Here's to the past

I've said my goodbye and I've ripped off my wings
It hurts my heart but I need to get over these feelings
I've suffered for so long under your reign
and I think it's about time that I end all this pain

I'm starting my journey into the begotten future
To find all the missing pieces of my heart that I need to nurture
I'll have to search far and wide and it make take a few years
but I'll grow as a person and face many of my fears

As I slowly grow older and farther from you
I'll never forget our memories and the day that you knew
that I was too much for you or maybe to little
and decided to leave me behind and not to dwindle

Sometime

Leave me alone

Retreating to the isolation inside my room
curling up in a blanket of misery
Memories replay and corrupt my peaceful slumber
they reiterate

"You're not good enough."
"You disgust me."
"Nobody cares about you."

Tears stream down my mask
The negative thoughts have made the positive evanesce
I just want to be left
Alone

Life asked DeathLife asked Death,

"Why do people love me
but hate you?"

Death responded,

"Because you are a beautiful lie
and I am a painful truth."

My PoemI wrote you a poem
detailing everything I could never say
in the hopes that it would make up
for the fact that I'm not brave enough
to say these important things out loud.

And I curled the poem up
inside of my heart. I carry it around
tucked neatly between my ribs, believing
that to be the safest place for my secrets.

And I could crack open my chest
and bare my soul to you so that you
could read this poem I wrote, but I can't
tell if I'll heal back up after you read it or if
it'll leave me more damaged than ever before.

as we constantly dwell on what life's all about.

We shatter and weep when those close to us die,
yet can feel born again as we glance at the sky.

We wander and wonder and ponder what's next,
even solve the great mysteries and still we're perplexed.

The real answer for being here, no one can give,
so do your best to relax and just love, laugh and live.

for when you visit you will find,
the deepest secrets from my mind.
You'll witness things I love and hate,
perhaps I'll speak of someone's fate,
for what I write is not a ruse

What is love?

Never ask me for advice on love
for I know nothing on the concept
Some see it as a beautiful thing, like a dove
I see it as something painful and indirect

Love is indeed something I yearn for
but my picture of it is very unclear
The ones I've meet claimed it was love but it was only a lure
I believe that it's deep true feelings that one holds dear

If you ever find yourself questioning if it's "Love"
ask yourself if you like just the appearance or whats truly within
If the feelings are mutual take the chance and raise above
and if it's one side-sided don't dwell on something that has never been
