I know it hurts for I've felt your pain
You want to give up
and let the enemies erase you
So I'm telling you now
That your life isn't over
There's still a chance to find happiness
and to have a smile

There's many who feel the same as you do
and I'm sure you know that is true
But did you know that I'm one of those people
who wishes they'd disappear?
I plaster a smile on my face around you
and everyone else
But inside it's cold and dark
and taken over by misery

that all my words are true
I want to be the one
you run to when you're scared
I want to be the shoulder to cry on

Summer NightsThe stars above dazzling and whirling,
as we play our insignificant games
The summer nights where our memories
soon take form and create hidden names

The things we created became so near
We sought to grasp at the moonlight
Our shadows dancing along with us
Maybe we will find dreams tonight

Let's forget the past of winter's words
and find the radiant truth of summer's song
To discover hidden realms of our desire
as we get caught up in the swaying throng

This is merely the beginning of the end
Time to seek the beauty of fleeting moments
Like the shooting stars flashing before us
we surround each other in passionate descents

Purs
I BelieveA thousand times I walked along this line
Dreaming of the other side
So far away, yet next to me
A strange new land
Full of possibility

A million times I wondered why
I had now wings to spread and fly
Until I found them inside my mind
Finding freedom hiding in my soul
Accepting the necessity of lost control

I wonder now, could it change
If I changed in time?
If I gave up fear and just crossed the line
To explore the unknown land
Instead of wondering what might be...

Do you think I'd open up and see?

I'm tired of hiding my curiosity
It feels wrong to deny this side of me
I want to know who I might be
If I open my eyes to see

I believe, oh
Deserved
You see me differently
No one else possibly can
You understand me
When I don't make any sense

You love me
Or loved me
I hope for present
But I suppose it isn't deserved

And this love has suddenly vanished
But I don't want to lose you

Your love is all I have
That keeps me from the edge
The only constant
The only positive I have left

Or at least that you loved me
And although I hope for the present

I was alone
Trapped in my solitude
And I reached out for you

You left me here
Wishing that I had played
Souls Of SilenceSilence echoes in that shade I call a soul,
Festering on a feast of sin with lips so foul.
Tears drop as snowflakes spiral and sparkle all around,
While lightning licks the canvas of the celestial,
And thunder roars against that tide of sound.

Serene corruption of my spirit I know as sanity,
Choking on a madness of belief in eyes of calamity.
Voices die as winds bellow and blast the skies,
While mists shroud the dais of the divine,
And air breathes out their forgotten mortal cries.
Proof
What do I have to do
To prove myself to you;
That I am twice as good
As the moron you make me out to be?

You know as well as I do,
That I deserved at least that much!
Not that you'd ever give me the time,
Not that I'd ever get the mention.

So my talent continues to be ignored,
By the eyes of the only one whose opinion matters.
And with every wasted breath,
My future becomes dimmer.

My chance to get out
Becomes entirely lost,
As I try, sigh
And eventually cry,
large heavy drops,
the product of my fears.

I mean, what do I need to do,
To prove myself to you?
I do what you want exactly.
Accurate within a degree of perfection;
But it isn't goo
I Love You
It may to late
But if you had a chance
What would you say?
Would you say
"I love you?"

I don't know
What happened
And how I got so far away
I'm so lost
The only place I can see
Is the wall of your heart
As you hold me close
Though the distance is long

I don't know most things
Though I act as if I do
And it may be to late

I cannot tell
I can only hope you'd answer
What I hope for

But I think it may be too late
And it is too bad, tragic even
Because although I'm far away
A spec on the horizon
If I had a chance
To see you again
I know what I woul
Sprinting Towards Demise
By burning waters, and smoldering bridges,
I await the genesis of our animosity.
Make the move that gives me permission to strike,
make the move that will bring about your end.

Near draws the line that which I advise you to never cross.
Though to my eyes comes the image of your sprinting legs.
It would seem, that through your veins flows pure pestilence,
and that you wish to bring upon me, nuisances by any cost.

Good God, such a fool bound for my throat,
knowing not the patient blade that waits.
Honor averts it's eyes, as your charge draws to an end.
It wishes this good and done, just as I.

A swift jerk of my arm to your direction
Don't give up.
It's funny how our pasts frame us
How the person we used to be never lets go of who we are today
Our failures and victories
They haunt us like ghosts or visit us like old friends
But it's up to you whether you choose to dwell on it or let it be a friendly reminder
You can give up and never try again
Or you can convert your failure into energy to put towards perseverance
People who choose to give up will soon find themselves lonely at a dead end
Those who choose to keep going will find the road of success and true happiness
People say there's lots of choices you can make in life
But there's really only two
Surrender or Fight
Which
The Thin Line
Walking the thin line,
'tween plain and sublime.
That's where you see me fall.
So tall until I fall.

Struggling to hold on.
Struggling for so long.
Tiptoeing across the line.
Just waiting for my sign.

In the sunless day,
watch me fade away.
I'm always in between.
I'm there but never seen.

Walking on tight rope,
'tween dispair and hope.
The centre of the two,
Wishing I'd follow you.

Wanting to move on.
Wanting for too long.
To move towards a side.
To reach it 'fore I die.

In the moonless night,
I feel fine, alright.
No light to see what's lost.
No ache to feel exhaust.

From my perch up high,
See my spirit fly,
Between
RuinedIts safe and warm in my little world,
That cosy place inside my mind,
But comfort comes with a hefty price,
Good friends are harder to find.

Friends to put up with your peculiar ways,
Look past the actions of the damned,
To hold you in your hours of need,
Being there always close at hand.

This cosy little world has another side,
Full of pain and degredation,
The warm becomes a place of ice,
Where friends feel alienation.

The lonliness I feel inside my head,
Is the only time I feel unbroken,
But when the devils evil doors open,
Friendships strain with words unspoken.

The bonds created through shared emotion,
I have torn down w
Free WillFree Will.

Is free will a devout gift or a curse?

Was it free will that granted a desperate man to steal an old lady's purse?

Was it free will that resulted in multiple bodies carried in a hearse?

Was it free will that justified a police officer to shoot the accused first?

Was it free will that allowed a family man's mentality to be so perverse?

Could this world of ours get any worse?

Free will gives us the chance for all of us to be distinctive.

But as a consequence people can act corruptive and vindictive.

But without this choice, our lives would be constrained and restrictive.

Undoubtedly these two differing perspectives are cont
Reaching Out To Sanity
I can hear the music,
playing in my head...
That brick wall melody,
that leaves me dry and bled.

Back out, unsound, way past
The naive embrace,
clutched like the withering vine,
so doubted in commonplace.

That sorrowful harmony,
with mysterious limbs
running like mad
through my mind, so dim with fog.

In my wake do I hear that music
of the morbid and downtrodden sound...
Sweet, the symphony of my imagination...
the chaos, although so profound.

Stained, my face with the misery
Of this occupation of thought,
not much, yet the burdens are stiff
within the acidic net, am I forever caught.
My Goodbye

Their black shade match the darkness in which he was breed
A splash of crimson upon the feathers tips
The blood continues to drip from his wrists

He is a lost angel
He regrets his choices and has a guilty feeling
He forgets his importance and his always knelling
He wished he'd die and end it all
But his mighty wings won't let him fall

He is a lonely angel
Even though there many by his side
He still feels lonely deep inside
He's lost so many and misses them dearly
Yet he refused to cry and tried to think clearly

He is a beautiful angel
His smile is so bright it stops

Dear Summer,
I can't believe you. How could you leave so soon? You come to me with a friendly greeting and a smile. You tell me, "Everything is okay now. You're free!" But that was a lie...That only lasts for a short time. My freedom is so short lived and it's all your fault. You speed by like a roller coaster even though I tell you over and over to go slow. I don't want to go back to that prison. It's so full of misery and angry people whos souls are dead and cold. Many demons lurk there, all wanting to steal your heart and crush your soul. My sword is not near strong enough to slay all those demons by myself. I'm just a little insomniac an
Chapter 4: Always trust the boy with the ramenAfter Near and Mello came, I was able to leave the nurse. I explained my drastic morning and health issues to the nurse and ended up scoring a day off from class. The problem with that is, Mrs. Jigoku hates it when you miss her class. My impression on her just went down 10% leaving me drowning in the negatives. Oh well, nothing I can do about it now.

I feel very lightheaded from all the pain medication given to me so Near and Mello help me to my room. We reach my dorm and instantly collapse on the bed and bury my head into my soft pillows. The world around me is swimming and I can already feel myself drifting into a deep sleep. The last thin
Paradise
There's a paradise for us all
A place were we can be free and get away from ours lives, if only for a moment
A place were we can forget our fears and insecurity's and just be ourselves
No more putting on a mask to cover your faces from the world
And pushing down all your emotions into your heart away from doubtful eyes
In Paradise, your problems are non-existent
You feel no pain or misery
Only love, happiness, and joy

Just how exactly do you get to paradise?
It's different for every person
Some people get there through their dreams
Others get there through a book or maybe even music
And there's always those who gets there throug
Invisible
I know whats it's like to be invisible
That horrible feeling of misery you get when your abandoned
To feel alone, yet your surrounded by millions of people
To be jealous of their smiling faces as they laugh with their friends
How much you wish that you could be like them
To be surrounded by loved ones to acknowledge you for who you are
Not who you want to be
Sometimes I build up the courage to speak up and try to be noticed
But it only results in failure
They push you back into the shadows of the world and continue on like you never existed
It makes you question you existence

Here's to the past

I've said my goodbye and I've ripped off my wings
It hurts my heart but I need to get over these feelings
I've suffered for so long under your reign
and I think it's about time that I end all this pain

I'm starting my journey into the begotten future
To find all the missing pieces of my heart that I need to nurture
I'll have to search far and wide and it make take a few years
but I'll grow as a person and face many of my fears

As I slowly grow older and farther from you
I'll never forget our memories and the day that you knew
that I was too much for you or maybe to little
and decided to leave me behind and not to dwindle

Sometimes I may stumble and cry out your name
but don't come back and re-spark the flame
I need to move on, we were suffocating each other anyway
From now on it will be only myself telling me "It's okay"
